Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga which focuses on physical health and mental well-being. “Ha” meaning “Sun” and “tha” meaning “moon” defines this form of yoga as a balance between opposites (effort and ease.) Hatha uses poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation as tools to increase body awareness, flexibility, strength, clear blocked energy and regulate your nervous system.
