Marcie’s love of yoga began 25 years ago when she began learning yoga and meditation from her grandmother who seemed ageless and flexible. Yoga quickly started transforming her life physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She knew she had discovered one of the greatest gifts to staying healthy, happy and young! She began studying with various teachers and influences from Hatha (breath and movement), Iyengar (with Rodney Yi), Anusara, Asthanga, and Kundalini. Her classes are meditative, fun, challenging and loving, combining a beautiful asana practice with Qi/ Prana (life force energy.)
In addition to loving and teaching yoga, Marcie has a masters degree in traditional Chinese medicine from AOMA (Academy of Oriental medicine at Austin). She is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and she is also a shiatsu massage practitioner.
She also has completed a two year training in Hakomi (body centered psychotherapy) and focuses on nutrition too.
Marcie has a love of health and healing and combines her expertise, skills and knowledge of Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage with her yoga practice to increase energy and relaxation and to experience greater health, joy, fun and laughter!
