Jessica Goulding (E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, YACEP) has been in the body and movement world for thirty years. Her youth was spent as a pre-professional and professional dancer and choreographer. She began studying yoga in 1995 and in 2004, she became a certified yoga teacher. Her original certification was completed in New York City in the alignment-based Anusara™ method, where she began learning of the therapeutic effects of yoga.
Since then she has studied with numerous master teachers in the physical, mental, spiritual, and philosophical aspects of yoga. In 2015, she became a Level I Yoga Therapist through the training program at Yoga Yoga in Austin, Texas. There she began to incorporate the teachings of Viniyoga to her therapy. She completed the Level II training and has clocked hundreds of hours in one-to-one yoga therapy sessions. Her keen eye for body mechanics, quick wit, easy laugh, and depth of understanding of the yogic teachings make yoga therapy with Jessica both informative and enjoyable to her clients. Jessica’s areas of specialization include yoga for men, postnatal yoga, whole life balance, injury recovery, anxiety and depression, scoliosis, stress management, Chakra Yoga, improving core relationships, mindfulness practices in the corporate world, and body and soul: bringing faith to the mat.
